This report was developed by Dr. Bushra Anwar, in collaboration with APPNA MERIT in 2022. Information was compiled from APPNA webinars, and some data was shared by fellows in Pakistan from online and other resources. It was aimed towards developing policy paper for Pakistan. The report describes the current situation of clinical trials market in the world, with a focus on South Asia and Pakistan. It analyses the clinical research industry of Pakistan using relevant framework, highlighting strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats. It also includes policy suggestions for each segment of the framework.
